About the writer
Star Again
Slow-burning fiction about second chances, and what they cost.
Star Again writes long, slow-burning fiction for grown-ups: stories about second chances, the people we never quite got over, and what it actually costs to go back. The intimacy on the page is explicit, and it's there for a reason. In these books, desire is how the characters tell each other the truth.
The stories aren't really about becoming stronger, richer, or more skilled, even when that's the surface. They're about the cost of becoming capable while the deeper wound stays unhealed. The fantasy is allowed. The cost has to stay visible.
The debut novel, The Long Way Back, is available now. A second novel, The Last Window Between, is in the works, along with the Available Light Cycle: standalone novellas that share one photography conference in Prague and the complications that follow people home from it.
Star Again writes from Belgium.
